Sheet 139 covers Barnstaple, Bideford & Ilfracombe along with most of the glorious North Devon coast.

Sheet OL9 is a double sided map that shows the whole of the Exmoor National Park and a large part of North Devon.

Directions:

Collard Bridge Camp Site is approached, via Barnstaple, from the A361 North Devon Link Road. On reaching the outskirts of the town, follow the signs for the Hospital. Turn right at the roundabout near Ford, right at the roundabout next to the TA centre.

Approach the traffic lights in the right hand lane and turn right up the hill, heading towards Bratton Fleming. (From these traffic lights the next turning is 3.0 miles on the left). Continue through the hamlet of Snapper. After leaving Snapper, look out for a house called ‘Riversmead’ on the left hand side of the road.

The lane to the camp site is on the left just past ‘Riversmead’ House. Go over two narrow bridges. The site entrance is on the left, immediately after the second bridge.
