Collard Bridge is located only 3 miles from Barnstaple, even though in the tranquil surroundings you would never believe civilisation was beyond our site for many more miles.

Groceries: In Barnstaple itself there is a fantastic Pannier Market and the street running alongside it is Butcher’s Row which has some wonderful and truly local butchers, bakers and fish mongers.

On the outskirts of Barnstaple there are various supermarkets. Tesco (x2), Sainsburys, Lidl (x2), Big Food Warehouse and Asda.

Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda will deliver to the site (please note we will not accept deliveries on behalf of groups).

Camping and Outdoor supplies: For camping supplies there is Millets and Mountain Warehouse in Barnstaple, but just a little further out towards Braunton is Devon Outdoor and Camping Supplies, based at St. Johns Garden Centre – they offer a 10% discount to Scouters and Guiders on most products (restrictions on some).

Gas: The nearest gas supplier is Esso located on Belle Meadow Road, Barnstaple, EX32 9HQ
